And one of my favorite ways to do this is with niche hashtags! (Aka hashtags with less than 200,000 posts)

Here are 2 simple ways for you to find niche hashtags on Instagram:

ON YOUR LAPTOP

Start by searching a popular hashtag in your niche. Click “Recent” and choose a few posts that resonate with you and comb-through the hashtags within these posts. Keep clicking through until you find a niche hashtag. And since you’re on a desktop you can easily copy and paste and start making your list!

FROM THE APP

Type a hashtag in the search bar, tap “Tags” and you’ll see “Related Tags” pop up! Click on them to be sure they are “niche” write down the ones that apply to you.

Once you build out your lists of niche hashtags, be sure to search them & engage because there is often a community around them…and then BOOM! Your Instagram Neighborhood begins to grow.
